TASKS

  • Meet with patients to assess their health and dietary needs.
  • Counsel clients one-on-one or in groups about the basics of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and monitoring nutrient intake.
  • Work with clients to develop a nutritious meal plan, taking dietary needs, cost, and specific preferences into account.
  • Maintain contact with clients to evaluate the effects of their meal plans, making adjustments as needed.
  • Promote healthy dietary habits by speaking to groups about the relationship between healthy eating habits and preventing or managing ailments and illnesses.
  • Advise clients and their families on diet modification, food selection, and preparing healthy meals.
  • Consult with physicians and caretakers on nutritional needs and dietary restrictions of clients.

PAY

Interpreter/Translator Pay $30-$50 an hour

Our research shows the hourly rate charged by Nutritionist & Dietitian VBOs ranges from $20.00 to $80.00. However, the majority seemed to land in the $30.00 to $50.00 per hour range. Factors affecting this variance include geographic location, experience, and level of expertise.
